Our Preschool Programs Prepare Your Child for Kindergarten
Preparation for kindergarten is highly promoted at the 4 year old level. The educational programs at Childrens’ Kastle are designed to support and encourage the growth and development of young children. The goals for our children are to build self-confidence, initiative, self-control, independence, persistence, and concentration.
The Pre-K curriculum for our Preschool Seniors is designed to help 4-year-olds achieve the necessary skills for kindergarten readiness. Your child learns through a multitude of hands-on experiences, including circle time, Bible stories, reading and math readiness activities, science, art, large and small group activities, computer readiness, and cooking.

4 Year Olds
Our preschool program prepares your child for kindergarten. Your child is solidly prepared for kindergarten when he or she graduates from our preschool program. The children are printing, sight-reading, solving simple number problems, and staying on task to complete a given activity.
A Look at the Day of a Preschool Senior
Every morning starts with Circle Time, which includes stories, songs, Bible Story, a weekly color, shape, number, and theme. But then during daily small structured group time, each preschooler will participate in reading readiness, math readiness, arts & crafts, or science activity.
Your child is solidly prepared for kindergarten when he or she graduates from our preschool program. The children are printing, sight-reading, solving simple number problems, and staying on task to complete a given activity.
As educators of young children, we understand that all children develop at their own pace. Learning is a process that takes time and is never complete.
Childrens’ Kastle teachers evaluate the children formally twice a year and of course, daily communication is a priority in all of our programs. Our interest areas are arranged to encourage curiosity and support your child’s development. In our preschool programs, opportunities are provided for each child to choose from various areas during free time: housekeeping, library, blocks and manipulatives, science, math, table toys, art, and water table area.
