Preparation for Kindergarten is highly promoted at this
level.
Our Educational Programs are designed to support and encourage
the growth and development of young children. The goals
for our children are to build their self-confidence, initiative,
independence, persistence, self-control and their ability
to concentrate.

| Our
teachers are qualified professionals with degrees in Early
Childhood Education. They participate in Continuing Educational
classes pertaining to the development of young children.
Our thematic Pre-k curriculum is designed to help children
achieve the necessary skills to prepare for Kindergarten.
The children learn through a multitude of hands on experiences,
circle time, Bible story, reading and math readiness activities,
science, open-ended art, large and small group activities,
computer readiness and cooking. Our preschoolers are also
introduced to two secondary languages, Spanish and French,
during circle time and small groups. Every morning starts
off with Circle time , which includes stories, songs, Bible
Story, a weekly color, shape, number and weekly theme. During
small structured group time, each preschooler will participate
in reading readiness , math readiness, arts/craft or science
activity daily. Our children are solidly prepared for Kindergarten
when they graduate from our program. Our children are printing,
sight reading, able to solve simple number problems, stay
on task and complete given activity
As
educators of young children we understand that all children
develop at their own pace, learning is a process that takes
time and is never complete. Our teachers evaluate the children
formally twice a year and of course daily communication
is always given.
Our interest areas are arranged to encourage curiosity and
support the children’s development. We provide the
children with opportunities to choose from various areas
during free time: Housekeeping, Library, Blocks, Science/Math,
Table toys, Art and Water Table area.
