Your Child Will Enjoy our Preschool Junior Program!

At the age of 3, children are beginning to develop special friendships and to interact with their peers. The Preschool Junior room for 3 year olds at Childrens’ Kastle offers a warm, nurturing, structured, and fun environment in which your child will learn, grow, and thrive.

Teachers are facilitators and assist with problem solving. Childrens’ Kastle preschool programs help your 3 year old begin the transition to a more formal education environment. As kindergarten readiness is a process, academic small groups are introduced during our Pre-K for 3 year olds preschool programs. Activities will be simplified or enhanced as appropriate to meet the developmental needs of your child.

3 Years Old

Your preschooler will begin to transition to a more formal educational environment. As kindergarten readiness is a process, academic small groups are introduced in our Pre-K programs for 3-year-olds.

Preschoolers Daily Schedule

How Our 3 Year Old Preschoolers Start the Day

Circle Time — Includes stories, songs, finger plays, Bible Story, and show & tell, with a weekly emphasis on a color, shape, letter, and a weekly theme.

Small group time — Every preschooler participates in the following academic activities daily: reading readiness, math readiness, arts & crafts, and science.

Our printing-rich environment enhances the emerging interest of your child’s writing and early literacy skills. During free time, there are many opportunities for your child to explore housekeeping, blocks, manipulatives, library, art, and water table area. Our teachers evaluate all children formally twice a year and of course, daily communication and daily visits with your child are encouraged and welcomed.
